Hand-assembled tape lace bolero vest, c.1905
A vintage accessory, like this captivating lace bolero, adds a unique accent to any outfit. You can wear the bolero with jeans or as an evening jacket. Either way, you will have a unique "look" for a fraction of the cost of a contemporary designer piece.
Visit the Brides section to see how a Vintage Textile bride created a unique wedding ensemble by pairing an antique bolero with a modern strapless dress.
This charming tape lace bolero is hand assembled from assorted cotton/linen lacy tapes and organdy medallions embroidered with leaves. The vest is fuller and shorter in front with no closures.
The color of the tape lace has aged to beige. If you prefer an aged patina, the vest is ready to wear. If not, just give it a good soak to make it ivory/white.
The condition is excellent.
It measures: 36" bust and 18" center-back length.
