Juschi silk shawl-size scarf, c.1980
This dazzling silk scarf by Juschi was purchased by a New York art collector on a shopping trip to Italy. She saw it as a wearable painting that would make a beautiful evening accessory. The scarf is fashioned from heavy silk crepe and is finished with a hand-rolled hem.
The print is a stunning dreamscape of a group of exotic wild fowl. The subtle details reinforced by bold colors make a dramatic design statement.
