Lace-trimmed infant's dress, 1890s
This sweet little baby's dress is as fresh and pretty today as when first worn. It was the best piece of high end children's clothing in a New England collection.
Made from very sheer white cotton batiste, the charming dress is embellished with wide inserts of delicate cobweb lace, rows of pin tucks, and lace ruffles. It closes in back with tiny thread-covered buttons.
The condition is excellent. Fit for a little princess, the dress is clean and ready to wear.
It measures: 22" chest and 39" from shoulder to hem.
